Fat Bomb: Hot Hot Fat Bombs

I have very few recipes that I made up by myself – I curate (choose something that I think looks “do-able” and might taste yummy) and try and make it – see if it works for me on my fitness and health journey. This one is adapted from Keto Fat Bombs (2nd edition) by Adele Baker

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Cream cheese
  • 4 slices Pepperoni Sausages
  • 3 slices smoked bacon
  • 1 medium chili pepper
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt, pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a frying pan, brown bacon and Pepperoni sausages until crisp.
  2. Remove bacon and Pepperoni from the pan on a paper-lined plate to cool. Keep the remaining grease for later use.
  3. Dice chilli pepper into small pieces.
  4. Combine cream cheese, chilli pepper and spices. Add the bacon fat in and mix together until a solid mixture is formed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Crumble bacon and Pepperoni slices and set on a plate. 
  6. Roll cream cheese mixture into 6 balls, then roll the ball into the bacon or Pepperoni.
